Design can influence. Design can inform. Design can be aesthetically poignant. Design can be many things, but it reaches people, and that is what I’m most interested in being a part of.
My name is Willa Tracosas and I am currently a graduating member of the class of 2014 at SVA's MFA Interaction Design program. I was fortunate enough to have spent this past summer interning with the Twitter design team in San Francisco, and while there was honored to be a fellow of the KPCB Design Fellows program which provided great insight and exposure into companies in the Bay Area working at the intersection of interaction design and technology. Prior to graduate school, I received my undergraduate BFA at the University of Michigan’s School of Art and Design (Go Blue!) and then spent the next four years as the head graphic designer for the national office of the American Civil Liberties Union.
